Re: Would you buy a plug in electric car?

Not even if they were cheaper than a proper car. But im sure my great great great great grand children will consider it when the infrastructure is vaguely acceptable.

Re: Coolest watch of 2021 - Zero West H1-P3708

I meant to add, when I was last down at ZW, they had the initial one in their case drawer. I was sworn to secrecy by both of them as they hadnt even announced they had a new offering coming! The dial is obviously totally different to almost everything you see "mainstream" and it may not be...

Re: Incoming - I really shouldn't but...

I have the blue Breitling rubber strap on mine. The Breitling wording on the strap looks a little o.t.t, but once on, you hardly see it as it fades towards the ends of the strap. The quality is absolute class. Yours being more "dressier diver" than mine, will probably suit a steel strap ve...

Re: Incoming - I really shouldn't but...

Great watch, I had the 46 blue on mesh and wasn't disappointed. I wouldn't bother buying the official mesh bracelet, it was ok but not worth £500+ I agree. I have the blue bezel, white dial Superocean and I actually prefer a non metal strap on it. Its the only watch I feel that way on! Which is han...

Re: The Curmudgeons Corner

Another parking point that does my pickle in completely is people who double park on a narrow terraced street like mine and refuse to put their car up the kerb. (Usually the same turds who leave their wheel turned out). Today was karma x1000. Small fire at the end of the street. No biggy, but it beg...

Re: CWL of the day

I cant wait to wear a leather strap again, but its just not possible in this heat so bracelet and rubber only.

Just tried explaining that to the dog after our walkies, but she couldnt be less interested

Re: Stick or twist - What next after 'Trusty Steed' Kevin?

^^^^ except, at the moment, I have nowhere to plug one in, as I park in the road outside my house. Not an insurmountable problem but one that would need solving. Guy Sent from my Xperia 5 using Tapatalk Exactly why the "electric dream" is decades away at best. Despite what **** the politi...

Re: Stick or twist - What next after 'Trusty Steed' Kevin?

Some great suggestions on here Guy.
Still, nothing comes close in style, reliability, tech, individuality, and most importantly with the acceleration to keep you interested, than the Cupra Ateca...!

Re: Stick or twist - What next after 'Trusty Steed' Kevin?

Second would be the BMW X2 M35i. I havent driven one, but I have checked them out and the finish is stunning. The figures suggest they are also massively capable of loosing you your license in seconds..! Whilst I'm averse to Audi, Mercedes and some other brands, BMW are worth a look, as I've driven...

I adore my Breitling. I think its my most worn watch. Especially in summer on the rubber strap.
Absolutely great choice

Re: Stick or twist - What next after 'Trusty Steed' Kevin?

Being a fellow vrs'er as we have chatted about before, I share your thoughts on performance v practicality. From the size vehicle you mention, for the reasons mentioned, plus the extra budget theres only 2 choices for me: Cupra Ateca. 300bhp, stunning interior, reliable, and can be toned down or in ...
