Re: MKIII Bracelet Half-Links Are In!

My C60 Sapphire Orange came with two half links fitted to it's bracelet. I must try and get time to fit a half link I got for the 22mm bracelets to my Dartmouth bracelet as it's just too loose on the tight setting of the micro adjustment. Hopefully that will tighten it up nicely as a full extra lin...

Re: C60 Anthropocene bidirectional bezel?

I would bet they are paid promotion from a local dealer not Rolex itself. The dealer loans the watch and then kicks some bucks for a mention in the video. This is pretty common too. ^^^ interesting information there! I’ve generally started ignoring online watch reviews as actual reviews because they...

Re: C60 Anthropocene bidirectional bezel?

Out of interest, I just rewatched the video in question, and then watched a few more, including a BB58 and a Rolex Milgauss, and all the ones I checked flagged "paid promotion" at the start, with no further comment about what that meant. Could you give a bit more info on this, if you are ...

Also, if you are looking for a particular CW model you can post a 'Want to Buy' here on the forum. You never know. Someone might have one they are looking to move on.

Re: NPD T4 project

^^^^ Twin flags and logo at 12 is too much. Has to be one or the other, not both. Guy Sent from my Xperia 5 using Tapatalk It looks cramped because it is too close to the top index. I think if it was all moved down 1 line it would not looked cramped at all. He did it that way so that he could use t...

Re: This One Slipped Through QC

Yes, you should use some sort of solvent unless they have used epoxy to put it on. An alternative to nail polish is the same stuff they use to regrip golf clubs. That works well if double sided tape is used. I'm not sure if it would work with contact cement.

Re: This One Slipped Through QC

In this thread you can see I took apart my C65 GMT and modified it to be a bi-directional bezel. The mechanism is very simple and I suspect that the C60 is the same design. I think that you would definitely need to re-set the bezel with contact cement. I think that there would be a high likelihood o...

That is really funny. It has to be math involved with where the day night graphics go. So much for software QC!

Ouch. Not a great result for the seller. I would be upset with the way they handled it as well. Especially since the valuation was incorrect to begin with.

Re: A 1960 Speedmaster

If you look at the link I included above you can see that it is a stepped dial. This one is in VERY rough shape. Yes, but they can do wonders, can't they. Good condition variants on chrono24 are priced very high. The cheapest with that handset is 23K. That's a big margin. That is true but you could...
