Great pics. Out of interest what accuracy are you getting on your movement?
Last time I measured mine I was getting about +2-3 a day. I will have to throw it on the timegrapher and have a look.

Fishing the home waters. Driftless area of Southwest Wisconsin. The area is littered with limestone spring creeks.

Re: C63 Sealander Collection

I think that if you guys tried it the 39s would be quite wearable. All of the vintage Rolex cases are 39. I have a 7.5 inch wrist. My watches range from 36 to 45. Diameter is really only a starting point (lug to lug is far more important IMO). 40 inch dial only watches look far bigger on wrist than...

As requested! Brilliant photographs.

We just need missF to repost some of her 2002 British Antarctic Survey photographs and we'll be well away.

scooter
+1 to that!

Re: Might the C63 GMT kill off the C65 GMT?

Also the C65 is the only model with a steel rotating bezel in GMT. So it has some added functionality on its own not just overlap. That’s a really good point I hadn’t thought about. And as noted by someone else, the C65 GMT skews more dress watch than the C63 GMT. My initial post was primarily driv...

Re: C63 Sealander Collection

Lovely watches as they are, and I applaud  CW for the collection, if they had done the white C63 Sealander GMT in 42mm and a completely orange GMT hand then I'd buy one straight away. Unfortunately @39mm that's too small for me (the smallest watch I have is 40mm). I also don't own a watch tha...

How did you get this 15% ?
There was a general.15% off anything just after the last sale in January.
Someone else will chime in but I recall them doing it a couple of times a year.

Re: C63 Sealander Collection

Unfortunately, the renders and photos don't do the black justice. We got my Dad the Auto for his birthday and the family vote was for black. It was my least favorite out of the released models based on what I had seen. It arrived yesterday and it is night and day from the photos. The dial is very dy...

Re: C63 Sealander Collection

That was true of the original Explorer II where the GMT was slaved to the hour hand. Because the GMT hand has the capability to be set independently of the hour hand it is absolutely suitable for monitoring a second time zone or AM/PM as the user desires. Correct, though very marginally less conven...
