Re: Tales from the Omega Boutique

Similar colour scheme to the Tudor Glamour Double Date small seconds, with the Calibre MT5641 (COSC) in house movement, I have just picked up with a hefty discount in the current Beaverbrooks sale.

Re: Next Sale

Managed to bag the only item I was hoping was going to come up in the sale, a C65 AM GT LE. Arrived today with the added bonus of a COSC certificate. Thought I'd want to add the bracelet but looks great on the black and red hybrid so I'm happy with that for now. Perfect grab and go to wear whilst dr...

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread

Usual rubbish photo and description at TK MAXX but this looks like the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto 42mm H70605193 on a bracelet for £299.99 rrp £715.00.

Bulova Lunar Pilot Limited Edition Grade 5 Titanium 50th anniversary of Apollo 15 / Lunar Landing

I was hoping for a smaller, perhaps, automatic version of the Bulova Lunar Pilot to be released by Bulova to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 15 moon landing on 2nd Aug. Instead we get a titanium & gold pvd quartz version in the same size. Limited to 5,000 pieces, priced at $995.00...

Re: What Car do you drive??

2004 Toyota MR2 MOT'd today, hardtop removed, cleaned and back on the road for the first time since last June, kept off road during lockdown and the winter months. Looking to catch up for lost time and add a few more miles to the 35k currently on the clock during this summer. IMG_20210604_142042_2....

Re: New limited edition releases

Well I returned my GT 1 VEV, unworn with all the protective stickers on watch and bracelet clasp intact, due to the lack of accuracy compared to what was originally advertised and I have just received an email offering me 70% refund of the purchase price as the watch is not in pristine condition? T...

Re: New limited edition releases

Good luck on getting it sorted and certainly stick to pursuing the full refund. It is unfortunate but it seems to be the norm these days to have to argue to get what should come at the first time of asking. Even if it was worn there would be justification for a refund as what they had for sale is n...

Re: New limited edition releases

I bought 2 AM GT 1 VEV's. I have been monitoring them both before being made aware of any of this. The first one I bought was laser accurate so I decided to buy the second one due to the accuracy of the first as an everyday wear and keep the first in pristine condition. The second one I was disapoi...

I am still assembling information and awaiting more answers. I will provide all details when completed. Unfortunately it is taking a bit longer than anticipated. I should be complete by mid next week.
Thanks Kip, much appreciated.

Re: Nearly New Items for Sale again (25Mar2021)

Back on topic   It looks like, if you didn't partake of the Nearly New watches on offer yesterday or today, up to this afternoon, you've had your lot; as the 'Nearly New' page has gone from CW's website. Oh well; hopefully my Bumble Beast will be dispatched early next week. :) :) Guy Ty...

CALIBRE TYPE - If the chronograph hands spin when you pull the crown out to position 2, you have an ETA calibre 251.274. If the chronograph hands do not spin, you have a calibre 251.272. Iam a liitle bit confused. According to the manual the crown has four positions. Position 1 crown screwed, Posit...
