Re: C60 Anthropocene bidirectional bezel?

What have I not accepted and where am I being unreasonable? By expecting someone to prove to you that a bezel does not turn in a way it can't, regardless of what you already know or do not know about it already. What do you expect someone to do. Say I know it won't turn the other way and although I...

Re: Watch running slow…question

I have just returned my C60 Trident Pro COSC Limited Edition for the third time due to it running erratically slow. It was regularly losing 2 minutes plus a day but last week I put it on in the morning after synchronising it with my iPhone. A couple of hours later I looked at it and it had lost 20 ...

Re: NPD T4 project

I spent a bit of time doing that last night (and stayed up far later than I should've done, in doing so! ). I just wanted to see what my 'show some love for the chrono' comment a couple of pages back could look like. I got this: Some fantastic work there. They look great and really show how g...

Re: C60 Anthropocene bidirectional bezel?

I still maintain that, to me at least, it did not appear that you made an attempt at reversing the bezel. That said.... I have been questioning CW since I first saw this video. The final response is "It appears that at some point in the swapping of dials and correcting of various samples for t...

Re: C60 Anthropocene bidirectional bezel?

I don't like my reviews being wrongly slagged off. I am right to defend my credibility as a watch reviewer when this happens. You see if I don't do it, no one else will do it for me. Its very damaging for my channel when my reviews get slagged off by multiple people on a forum like this. Regards, W...

Re: A 1960 Speedmaster

Not sure i'd even give them £60 for it let alone, £6k!

It just looks a mess to me that I wouldn't want to wear or create a museum for it to sit in.

Are the minute and hour hands overlapping or is it missing something?

Re: Too much bezel play? | C60 Elite 1000 (video)

Whilst I don't own that model it looks fine to me.

You are likely to be able to push it one way before a click and then back. I'd rather have some loose movement in it so that it is easier to turn rather than have to use excessive force like some watches out there.

But only for a few months.

A suspect tweet will emerge that was sent in 2020 to which Tribus will take a moral stand and end the relationship. Or maybe it will be because it didn't lead to as many sales as they expected.

Re: NPD T4 project

Would prefer an applied logo at 12, and not lumed.

To use lume in too many areas would make me think of a kickstarter where just because something can be lumed it is. Sometimes less is more in terms of design and as a tool style watch it could be more of a gimmick without any real function.

Re: Not a replica, not a copy, not a homage, not generic?

Although on the higher end of reasonably priced, there are some brands that seem to have a sufficiently different design identity to be deemed less generic. I'm thinking Zodiac with the super sea wolf, Doxa for the use of colour and Rado with their use of ceramics etc. Other much higher end brands a...

Re: Tribus Watches

Bearing in mind how aggressive their “we will never discount and only ever reward loyalty” mantra was, it seems someone is not really in touch with the UK buyer at all. Meanwhile CW appear to have sussed out their market and price points. The new C63 seems to had a great launch and they had a limit...

Same on the 40mm C60 Trident. 20mm down to 18mm.

Only a slight taper but about right I think and wears well.

Re: Question about some prices on the CW's website

To support what JAFO said above this was definitely included in a summer promotion starting in August I recall. It basically had £425 off/25%. Not sure if that reduction is now permanent or if it is due to go back up. For an SW-510 the current selling price is cheap compared to other brands. How new...
