Re: F1 2021 Motorsport Thread

Malcolm if you've not seen Drive To Survive on Netflix, I'd recommend it for an F1 newcomer. It's a little dramatised (and has added sound effects to glorify certain events) but has great behind the scenes access. It also makes for entertaining "behind the scenes in the paddock" viewing i...

Lovely watch, the best SC imo. And that strap takes it to another level...

Re: Forthcoming - Elliot Brown Bloxworth 3HD

^^ ^^ Just to clarify, when I spoke of renders I was referring to what I thought was being shown on the EB website, not the photos in the OP here which are clearly real world photos. I didn't check back to the EB website when I made my post, and I know that they have used renders in the past for mod...

My brother had a 2007 9-5 2.0T estate for a few years, great car. He only recently sold it.
Cheers Ferg…I’ve had a Saab since ‘07. Have been such good cars; great ride quality. Such a shame they stopped making them.

Re: What Car do you drive??

Well…as there’s a rather nice Audi TT, going by the name of Des, doing the rounds, I thought I’d show this Des’s trusty steed. She’s Swedish, I’m very fond of her indeed, her names Brit. She’s a Saab 93 btw.

Re: Great fight!

What a fantastic fight it was tonight. I’m absolutely gutted for AJ but Usyk was absolutely brilliant tonight. Fully deserved win, a masterclass giving away height, weight and reach. Congrats to the bloke and hope he enjoys every moment  Couldn't agree more, Chris. He actually made Joshua loo...

I like it very much, it really compliments the watch dial. Is there any kind of taper from lugs to buckle? I bet it's really set off by the blue plastic # in the caseback and crown.

Re: C60 Anthropocene bidirectional bezel?

I have watched this thread from afar and found it amusing. It has gone back and forth a bit like the bidirectional bezel or, wait, is that unidirectional bezel of its subject matter. Now we are addressing the subject matter of how watch reviews are monetised, and how the watch buying public are a le...

Re: Forthcoming - Elliot Brown Bloxworth 3HD

I can’t sleep, hence the 5am post. And, I didn’t expect to see an Elliot Brown post at the top of the portal page. So why not comment, eh. I’m a very big fan of what they do after all. And, like Guy, I came across this new addition (yet to be launched) to the EB range around about a week ago. I also...

Re: The Plan

Congrats, the BB58 blue is a lovely watch, probably the best of its type at that price point. It's a great watch to consolidate to. And, if I was thinking 'less is more', this would certainly be a watch that would leave me comfortable in my decision.

Re: Is less more?

I have a plan. The plan? To reduce the numbers down as I approach my intended retirement in a few years. Something that may end up just being "The One" ? Just to confirm...there is only one 'ONE'. It has been foretold by both Morpheus and the Oracle. And, what's better, he's returning to ...

That Holton looks superb on the canvas strap, very military ops indeed. I'm a big fan of the brand owning a Canford, Bloxworth and Tyneham. I think EB could dine out on the success of the Holton for quite some time, it has been very well received in a lot of watch circles.
