Moonglow World glow Superluminova questions

Hi, Well am contemplating the C1 Moon glow. I was thinking and perhaps may still end up with the old C1 Grand Malvern but the Lume is very tempting and makes it more useful in more situations theatres, blacked out concerts, even some dinners with after dinner shows. Am sure the lume is perfectly lon...

Re: JJ04 Complication question

I feel same the way the C1 Grand Malvern is my preferred as well. The C9 was thicker and not quite as versatile I thought with the roman numerals. I couldn't warm to the moonglow either just feels like it's losing the dress feel now don't much care for the pointer either. Oddly I seem to like the n...

Re: JJ04 Complication question

I have owned a C1 Moonphase since January and have not had to touch the moon since then, when I did take some pains to set it as exactly as possible. As to movement accuracy, mine was last adjusted on 1st April and today is 63 seconds fast so 1.8s per day. It gets worn about every 2-3 days and mean...

Re: Is the problem choosing not choice

Well I think they need more dress watch choices there are plenty of diving watches and I'd say having multiple straps is no hassle and great for demos that was one thing that impressed me when in their show room. Can I see that with the brown strap sure no problem here you go quick releases the old ...

JJ04 Complication question

Hi, Am thinking of getting a Moonphase. I do Astronomy and well will get into Astrophotography again in earnest one of these days. The moonphase will be useful I'm just wondering how long it stays accurate for before needing an adjustment. Anyone hooked one of these up to a watch winder? And checked...

Amusing thought anyone changed their name to Christopher Ward?

Hi, Was thinking about watches again and getting a C1 moonphase the Grand Malvern I thought. Te thought If I changed my name to Christopher Ward then it'd be like getting free name engraving :-). Re: New C60 GMT 42mm owner with hacking seconds and GMT hand issue

Hi Steve, Yes I have the booklet with the warranty page, from reading it would come under movement fault. If it turns out not to be covered, the price doesn't sound so bad anyway. Thanks tikkathree I'm not too bothered I factored in that it wasn't serviced and was envisaging an extra £150 for servic...

Re: New C60 GMT 42mm owner with hacking seconds and GMT hand issue

Update the man says he never tried it, didn't know it had it. Which seems odd to me, though if it was his first and his Dads say didn't have stopping seconds feature then perhaps I can believe it. Though having seen a few adjusted myself, wouldn't take much observing to see second hand stop. Doesn't...

Re: New C60 GMT 42mm owner with hacking seconds and GMT hand issue

Hi thanks everyone, Actually my mind is somewhat eased on the GMT function having the idea to make a photo with time at 6pm and dual time at 6pm also it looks alright now to me. 18hoursgood.jpg Though earlier it looked out to me but I think that may be due to partial hour syndrome see inline 15 minu...

New C60 GMT 42mm owner with hacking seconds and GMT hand issue

Hi, Well I have my newself a used C60 in black see here only paid £450 for it from ebay yeah I know :-). and it comes with the new ratchet strap so cannot complain too much it's still within the 60/60 though not sure these qualify. Re: What would you like to see next?

Well that's depressing news with him there could make a difference. On the flip side though I suppose Christopher ward don't have millions to throw at a far out idea so maybe Sellita is less limiting I just hope big business attitude profits first, doesn't throttle him.

I agree am looking at their Meister range so well done wears small and thin even though 40mm diameter case 5mm crown and small lug to lugs. Great thread this.

Re: C60 Trident 600 GMT (43mm) on holiday

Hey she looks lovely in the sunset. I am bidding one on ebay though am now wondering if maybe 38mm would be better but still it has the new clasp ratchet style which will be great in hot places and no worries on cruises, canoeing, punting in Cambridge :-). Also thought I was going to get red but dec...

Re: What would you like to see next?

Christopher Ward are lucky to have Johannes Jahnke what he did with the moonphase brilliant. I'd let Johannes Jahnke run a mock. See if he can create an annual calendar affordable, then a perpetual. Also a show piece challenge, sunrise sunsets eclipses, moons of Jupiter. When he's older really lay t...

Re: anyone like the GMT???

Well I do, I have no use for a diver really other than for robustness but with GMT the extra dial becomes useful and with 2 time zones great. When I'm travelling I like to have one for where I've been one for where I'm going and one for where I am during a layover.
