Re: Euros (Football)

And if England win their group they get the dubious pleasure of playing the second place team from the France/Germany/Portugal group. Maybe it suited England in their game against Scotland to try to play for second place in their group, and avoid that dangerous round of 16 match. To win the group E...

Re: "Sub Rosa"...those secretive gems.

My epic offering to this party is Zero West. Admittedly, I may be cheating a little by throwing this particular one in the mix, but as a brand, they are as perfect as any watch ive seen. Design, build, feel, look are all superb. Match that with the service and willingness to work with the customer ...

Re: Euros (Football)

Watching Italy v Wales now…..

The Germany v Portugal game was a great spectacle and the Germans looks to have regained their confidence after their disappointing start against France. That group looks very tasty now with the mathematical possibility of any of the 4 qualifying.

Looks like it’s right up your street, big, bold and not afraid of colour. A quality brand, which you already know.

Should you buy it? Above ^ should be pointing to a yes, but who apart from you can say?

Re: If you could choose just one...

I’m a bit old school with my favourites. Not too old, but not in the current range. The Mark 2 C60s were for me a combination of the excellently-engineered and the ruggedly pragmatic, with one exception - polished centre links on the bracelet proved to be a less than ideal choice for a tool watch. I...

Re: What’s your favourite C60 generation

The Mk 2 Chr. Ward for me, not because it’s perfect but because it’s the model I first bought, and my Intro to CW watches. No doubt the Mk3 brought an improved case, bezel and bracelet, but in my view it gave up the logo at 12 in favour of a wordmark at 9, a textured dial in favour of a flat one, an...

Re: Is this a scratch on the crystal or the AR coating of my C63?

You're a rum old bunch! ROFL :dielaughing: Surely, we can’t be that odd for doing that? The door jams in my school are all metal. The last thing I want to do is damage my watch against them. And those effing brass doorknobs or door handles that catch your wrist as you pass by. That’s not a risk I’m...

Re: Thank you, Forum!

That’s quite a feat Steve. I’ve enjoyed your elegant musings, been surprised at some of the linguistic twisters you’ve unleashed (including your lightly acerbic replies, often so well disguised), and thank you today for using the word “serendipitous”. I’d expect nothing less from a language teacher....

Shame CW have taken so long to realise/admit defeat ...

Re: Friendly Knowledge Share of the CWE 2.0 LE

even a couple of the guys at CW like Mr. France would like to release more Twin Flag only models if marketing would allow it! :o What does this mean? Mike stated in a recent interview that they weren’t ready for a Twin Flags only model - not for at least a couple of years. Nice design, by the way, ...

Why do dogs wipe their feet after pooping? :-k
