Hi Dom,
Thank you for your comments, the models came from The National Memorial Trust at Capel-le-Ferne, on the famous white cliffs between Dover and Folkestone in Kent.
They are hand carved and finished sanded from Mahogany, and hand painted with up to 35 coats of enamel paint.
Regards.
Mick.

Re: Returning my C1000 back for the third time...
Since they are willing to negotiate a compensation for my case, am willing to give them another chance to see how it goes. Praying hard things will be fine after this round. :( I wish you well with this ridiculous continuation of what should have been a simple return of the first faulty watch, corr...

Re: Returning my C1000 back for the third time...
Disappointing service by CW. :? :? :? Received my 'new' watch this morning, however, not only the chronograph movement not fixed, even the ceramic case seems to have escape their quality check. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xta1/v/t1.0-9/11951178_10153141624452756_35940321183133...

When one does appear....it certainly will not be mine.
Really can`t see why there seems to be so much concern about future values... from people that DO NOT own one.
Or perhaps i can!!!.

Re: Christopher Ward C8 P7350
Personally I'm not sure how that price is justified. I've recently taken delivery of these Cufflinks. Made from aluminium and bronze taken from a Spitfire that took place in the Battle of Britain. On the face of it you're getting substantially more metal from the plane than you're getting with the ...

Re: Christopher Ward C8 P7350
I have just returned from hospital having spent about 8 days as an inpatient having my left hip replaced - my second hip replacement. There were a couple of complications after surgery, so my stay was extended from the usual 3 days, but I am pleased to report that my hip itself is fine and I am wal...

Re: C1000 landed but having a dilemma
You have made the right decision, it should be perfect.
CW will send you a prepaid return package to send the watch back in, just make sure that the watch presentation case is well wrapped in bubble wrap, as i have found the return package (bag) is not very strong or resilient to knocks.

Re: The Spitfire Has Landed!
I know it's in keeping with the watch but I hope other variants get some better movement finishing. http://www.christopherwardforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=32092&p=459263&hilit=meistersinger#p459263 Hopefully, it will on watches with sapphire display backs. The C8 P7350 will rarely be s...

Re: Strap Complaint
Hi D65, I understand and totally agree with your "gripe", very frustrating. If it were mine, i would send the watch back and ask for a replacement fitted with the correct strap,..THE SIZE YOU SPECIFIED WITH YOUR ORDER. I know this process would take a lot longer than if you were resident i...

Re: C8 P7350
That looks fantastic. I am still waiting on #68 to arrive. It took ONE day to get from London to Los Angeles, and then spent THREE full days in LA at three different locations. It finally left there to my distribution center and should arrive here hopefully tomorrow - Monday, June 29. If not then, ...
