Re: Non CW of the Day

Apart from a few days wearing various CWs, this one has been on my wrist for most of the last month :D

Re: Twelve Skeleton

Great looking concepts

As it happens, I've been secretly hoping the new "Concept" SH21, which may happen this year, is based around The Twelve, and if it's then anything like the C60 Concept (which I have), then it would be a superb watch to celebrate the new SH21 v2 movement :D

Re: CW Regrets

I let the Powerglow go to a new home. I’d convinced myself it was ok to move it on to let others experience it. I felt it was too tall with the automatic SH21 movement, the case was polished and showed even the microscratches too easily. Yeah, well it went from me to another owner who was eager for...

Re: CW Facebook groups

Can't think why CWE (Enthusiasts) should be hard to join, it's just reach over 12,000 members, and is a very relaxed group

Perhaps there is a backlog for approving new members... I'd wait a day or two and if nothing then reach out to an admin.

Good luck

Re: Bel Canto watches@

Yes, as I wore it more often (I stopped treating it as a shiny new occasion watch, and started just wearing it every day) the accuracy improved. As far as dial legibility, it's perfectly fine for me (unless it's a dark room), but other folks I've showed it to had a hard time reading it. So I'd say ...

Re: Bel Canto watches@

On the other hand, the accuracy, which at least seems to me to leave something to be desired. One forum member talked about 15 seconds a day, another 1 minute in 5 weeks. I would like if there could be a feedback on this issue and from other members of the forum to see an average of the accuracy be...

Re: The Rolex Air King - Ref 126900

Seeing as you’ve just resized the bracelet it might be worth adding a drop of thread lock to those screws, one of mine started to come out without it. I was also going to mention some thread lock! That's a very good suggestion. I did watch a great video on Youtube that went through the resizing pro...

^^^ maybe the best Rolex wrist shot I've ever seen? :kg: Thanks  Trust me, when you're cleaning out goose sheds or horse stables... Re: The Rolex Explorer

Having just got my first Rolex, and one that I've been admiring for years (see my recent post), I can understand what you're feeling. I've also weighed up the worry of "wearing a Rolex" in public, but concluded that I'm not going to let it bother me. I'm rarely in larger cities, and when t...

The Rolex Air King - Ref 126900

Well here it is... the Rolex Air King ref 126900... Let's just say I'm already in love :D Back in 2016, before I had even heard about CW, I wasn't even wearing a watch, and hadn't been since RAF days. I got an Apple Watch (for work), and then gained an interest in mechanical watches from there. I wa...

Re: January 2024 Sale

When I picked up my BC last month I told myself that I’d pick up a blue titanium Twelve when they came back into stock. So this is the first sale purchase that was actually of something I was already set on buying, and cost less! Rather than me just buying it because it was reduced. It arrived toda...
