Re: C60 Gunmetal Prototype

Congratulations on a beautiful watch. You really came out ahead with this one, as the gunmetal is much nicer than black DLC/PVD!

Re: The Olympics

I was scanning the online programming guide to see what events were being broadcast. With my bad eyesight I misread tennis as TETRIS! For a split second I thought, “now this is just getting ridiculous!”

That’s a good point. Some of the sports I’ve most recently enjoyed watching in both the summer and Winter Olympics are the ones where the sport IS NOT the competitor’s main gig. I like the sports where the athlete has a day job!

Re: The Olympics

To me, any sport for which the Olympics is not the pinnacle of the sport, then it shouldn’t be included. What an intriguing idea! I think this makes a lot of sense in some ways. One thing I think about with some of the new sports being added is if inclusion in the Olympics is regarding as validatio...

Re: The Olympics

I have always been impressed by how easy they make it look. I find that’s true of just about anyone who’s an expert in something, and it’s one of the things I love about the notion of expertise. I love watching masters of their craft, whether it’s a sport or something else, practice their craft. I’...

Boxing is a good example of a grey area. Ideally, there will be a knock-out or a TKO. At least the judging isn't necessarily for artistic value or how well executed a move is!

Re: The Olympics

The highlight of the summer Olympics for me is team handball. I think it’s the greatest sport most Americans have never heard of! I love it! It’s as if basketball and soccer had a baby! The time difference is challenging, and the scope of the coverage (three channels here in the states, plus streami...

Re: “Robust Elegance” - is this just another way to say GODO?

I find the responses intriguing. Of course robust and elegance are marketing terms. But that doesn’t mean they don’t have validity as descriptors outside of marketing. In the marketing sense, CW’s “Go Anywhere, Do Anything” is just as much marketing hogwash. I took the meaning of the article as desc...

“Robust Elegance” - is this just another way to say GODO?

I came across this article on Time & Tide about watches that have a robust elegance to them. The author defines robust elegance as a watch that “offers the characteristics of a sportier timepiece in a way that can also translate to more formal settings.” What do you think of his selections? What...

He does, indeed! The black dialed C65 Automatic with the green bezel keeps taunting me!

Looks fantastic! CW’s exceptional bracelet is a must-have addition to any C60 or C65. I wonder why I waited so long to get my first.

EDITED TO ADD: I just now realized the intent of the growing nose, rendering my comment kinda meaningless.

It’ll be resolved at some point I’m sure, and it has such a tiny impact on my overall life… Just curious though, were you able to track the whole way through royalmail.com, or did you get so...

The Queen's Gambit on TV was apparently very good.

Regards Steve
It was exceptionally good!

I’m terrible at chess. I have no patience for any games involving strategy.
