Like that a lot G! Superb effort. Give your watchmaker a pat on the back from us

As for the dial text being black, hard to notice and with the hands/markers presumably being heat-blued, they will look black a lot of the time anyway.
Can't find fault with it (size maybe  ).

Re: My New C60 Bronze Ombré has arrived

I fully expected to prefer the C65 Ombre before looking at the snaps, but I think the C60 looks better, different style, but better overall. The applied markers on the MK3 Ombre definitely elevate it over the previous iteration. Do you think there'll always be room for both moving forward given that...

Re: Sonnerie au passage from MeisterSinger - the "Bell Hora"

It appears as though I chose the wrong link to read as the T&T one doesn't explain how it was achieved, whereas the other does (which I've just read)

Re: Sonnerie au passage from MeisterSinger - the "Bell Hora"

Interesting Steve. Being Meistersinger, I'd wager a bet it uses the JJ calibre and actuates some sort of hammer rather than the jump hour disc.

They do make some interesting watches with the Perigraph being my pick.

Re: Brands to consider on a £1500 budget

I don't mean to encourage suggestions over budget, but the white (SBGX259) and champagne (SBGX263) dial 9F Grand Seiko models are available for £1600 new from Watches of Mayfair . Their Nomos prices are extremely keen as well (£1200ish for sapphire back Tangente/Orion models). I haven't used these b...

Re: Tudor BB32,36,41

Edit: I saw another picture and it seems the hands ARE silver. Just a trick of the light in this pic and my old eyes making me see black hands. Having said that, we need more white and silver dials with black hands. The hands are THE defining feature of the Exp II Polar, and I wish my white C60 had...

Re: Brands to consider on a £1500 budget

I second AVOs Nomos suggestion assuming you don't need to worry too much about WR. They do have waterproof models, but they're generally more than the (healthy) budget available. You should be able to find a Nomos with the sapphire caseback which would perhaps make it that little bit more special. T...

Re: Oris New Releases - Cotton Candy

These aren't appealing at all and thinking a bit more about the bronze C60 I had, these dial colours are going to look awful imo once the case and bracelet has gained some patina.

Oris New Releases - Cotton Candy

I don't know what they've been on at Oris, but I want some. :D https://i.ibb.co/bLY2DQ1/Capture.jpg One thing noted is that these have a 38mm case size. That sounds perfect with the narrow bezel. Now if Oris releases some 38mm steel cased models, I'll need to do some re-jigging(again). Brief release...
