Stunning Gary, I have to admit I was completely unfamiliar with this model.

Re: Decent Speakers / Soundbar Recommendations For A Tablet

Depends on usage but for Bluetooth and flexibility, Ultimate Ears speakers are very versatile and tough (inc waterproof). You can buy multiple for stereo/surround. We have them in several rooms and for outdoor use. Sound is good for what they are but we're not talking Audiophile fidelity levels.. Fo...

Re: Brands to consider on a £1500 budget

There are so many even if the original RRP was beyond, sales/deals are frequent. As you say, Oris are great and in range, Longines have some nice pieces. Farer for leftfield, Damasko depending on style you are interested in. Also some attractive Tudors can be had for the budget esp when deals to be ...

Re: New Arrival - The difference a bezel makes

CW do the black and red hybrid strap that might work well with that. https://www.christopherward.com/straps/hybrid-rubber-strap/20-HYB-01-SXKR-DC-ST.html I did consider a hybrid but found the CW wasn't to my taste at all when I received the C7 Rosso on it. I think it was the shade of red for me but...

Re: New Arrival - The difference a bezel makes

Thanks, its on the bracelet still as I've not yet found a better look. Tried the camel and browns and they don't have quite the right impact though the camel suede does suit it. At least with the QR bracelet its easy to experiment. 👍

Re: Where’s CW on your ladder?

More CWs than any other brand, are they my favourite brand...? Despite the numbers Im unsure I have one. Fair to say they must be my No.1 at a price point and at the recent stage of my watch journey but maybe not overall.

Re: A day being surprised by watches

and even the Cartier flagship. A little self conscious in the last one though, not because of the sales staff, it was the mega wealthy guy and entourage spending well over £100k on 4 special pieces Mugs are easily parted with their money for absolute overpriced rubbish IMHO. Can't say as I've ever ...

Re: Signing off for a bit...

All the best, will miss you being around but sometimes a break is necessary and valuable. I think most members will relate to that and many will have been there at one time or another.
Take care, have fun and hopefully see you around before too long.

Re: Mini SOTC - AVO’s Blue Period

Very nice mini collection AVO, I think the Meister has a real impact. I also like the do it all, been everywhere, nature of the Mako (its attractive too), like a pair of comfortable, familiar, well travelled boots that you pull on and they just keep going.

Re: A day being surprised by watches

Really interesting and enjoyable read Chris and I can relate. So is the AT now a firm target? If I had done this a few more times over the years I would have saved myself some 'mistakes' though its all part of the learning journey. On the occasions I have been to an AD, I have always had a good expe...
