Re: Bremont- what’s the appeal?
Bit of a trolling title, but I don’t really ‘get’ Bremont as a brand or as a watchmaker. I’ve seen a few in jewelers windows and not really been ‘gripped’ by any of them. I can’t see what they offer over and above (say) Christopher Ward. What am I missing? Thanks all Simon I have exactly the same f...

Re: ME109 Chronograph
So mine is number 34 and only recently bought from CW. That led me to believe that maybe they'd not sold that many. Perhaps they haven't and they're all in a safe somewhere!

Re: ME109 Chronograph
I like mine so much that I bought an original cockpit clock on which it is based as well!

Re: ME109 Chronograph
Interesting. I'm not looking to buy as I already own number 34. I was just wondering if they actually made the full 100 or not.

ME109 Chronograph
Does anyone know if CW has stopped selling the ME109 Chronograph for good now? And if so, does anyone know exactly how many were sold?

Re: C65 Sandstorm Chronometers
Idk, some people here seem almost apoplectic that these watches exists...... ...you can expect a broad spectrum of opinion... Not a great deal wrong with that. Nothing wrong with people expressing their opinions, of course. This is a great forum to do so. However, I’ve felt what Commisar is express...

Re: C65 Sandstorm Chronometers
I'm loading the shopping cart with a hypothetical bulk order of, say, 100 pieces of each variant, and then clicking through to checkout. The billing software then updates the order to reflect "Out of Stock" and advises how many pieces of each variant are left... You still get fr...

Re: C65 Sandstorm Chronometers
I can confirm that if you buy on W&W you pay roughly £850 for the Blackout with no additional fees. The webpage states that buyers may be subject to import duty which, as the watch is shipped within the UK, won't apply to UK buyers. There is no mention of additional VAT being due. I've asked CW ...

Re: C65 Sandstorm Chronometers
The prices stay exactly the same for UK buyers with no additional shipping fees. . . . . but you're in UK, aren't you? I'm asking for someone in the USA, or elsewhere but not EU, to tell us the price they see. Guy Sent from my Xperia 5 using Tapatalk ". . . . but you're in UK, aren't you?"...

Maybe it has something to do with being Welsh? I'm a Cardiffian. And I have an Explorer 1 (the proper one, not the modern massive ones)!

Re: C65 Sandstorm Chronometers
This is fascinating. I think the blackout is great. But I like small watches with big crowns and good movements. I get that others don't. Personally, I think all the C60s are awful derivative designs and it has always amazed me how they are so popular and sell so well. Horses for courses. Maybe I'm ...
