Re: The Plan

^^^ it was a very difficult choice indeed. Neither would have been wrong and I would be just as happy if I’d gone for the black, I’m sure.

Re: The Plan

Thanks guys & gals. Patrick, you’re so right about the blue colour being difficult to capture. I totally agree that the last pic captures it perfectly though! Peter, you old cynic. The old “ring the speaking clock” rouse went out the door when Minder ceased filming, didn’t it? Scooter, your thum...

There’s already a debate going on about whether it’s a likeable feature of the forum.
Thanks. Totally missed that.

Thumbs up.

It might have been mentioned somewhere so apologies if you know it already but has anyone noticed that there’s now a thumbs up button at the top right corner of posts?

There’s also a “Has thanked” & “Has been thanked” count against your name when you post.

The Plan

I’ve mentioned “The Plan” a couple of times recently. I think? It wasn’t a plan with hard and fast rules or aims. It was a “sort of a plan”, type of plan, if you get my meaning? It could evolve into something different or it could simply cease to be. Who knows? It was meant to take a little longer t...

Re: Is less more?

My collection currently stands at 14. That's too many. It wasn't. It is now? I have a plan. I have just sold my most expensive watch and currently have three others for sale. (One of which is on hold for a Forumite) The plan? To reduce the numbers down as I approach my intended retirement in a few y...

Re: Do you wear a different watch every day?

I pretty much just wear what takes my fancy, with the following influences occasionally coming into play: 1) Activity - ie: is a beater required? 2) Does it clash awfully with my attire? Mainly applies to my yellow & orange watches. 3) OOps! Am I neglecting that one? Better wear it? Or, maybe it...

Re: Repair times

Glad to hear that your situation was resolved in a "timely"  :silent: manner! I wish I could say the same for my warranty repair! I sent my C65 Dartmouth back for repair after it became impossible to move the hands, to set the time. Like you, I was initially quoted 8 to 10 week...
