Re: 1 Park Street, Thread

Went to 1 Park Street today, no selfie with the door as it was being re-painted. Declan was great. Tried on lots of watches, forgot to take pictures. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. There seems to be lots of new releases on the horizon too.

Re: NPD T4 project

Just on the lume.
Would there be any mileage on having the hour / minute hands in contrasting colours blue / green?

Re: Tribus Watches

Without trawling back through all posts has anyone got any real life shots of the TRI-01?
If so could they do a mini review?

Re: NPD T4 project

With some of the changes there will be a resultant cost rise. Mike France said in one his interviews that COSC would add an extra £150 to retail price. Would a change to SW300 add extra? May be another question should be about price? Currently at £740 the C60 is great value. If the price rose to £11...

Re: NPD T4 project

I know it would not be a large volume seller but "Destro" / "LHD" version would be nice. Even if it were special order. The SW200 movement has symmetrical dial feet and with a date at the 6 position (or non date) it would not be too technically challenging. Tudor, Archemede and S...

Re: Tribus Watches

I signed up to the rewards thing and some how managed to get 8,550 points. If I read the notes correctly I would get £85.50 of the purchase of a watch. TRI-01 From what I can make out the movement is based on the sw200 but a about £300 more expensive than CW military range. I also saw that they stil...

Re: Will there be future hand-wound models?

I do like your Zenith. My partner has the Zenith Elite Rainbow Diver, which she loves. Even though it is an auto it is only 9mm thick. Thank you sir! I am in the "Zenith are underated" camp, they have made and still do make some very nice stuff, those these days mostly a little too "...

Re: Will there be future hand-wound models?

Could probably live with the C8 as it has a PR but I read somewhere on the forum that it takes up to 300 winds for a full charge :-k Both of my manuals have PR indicators (which is very useful) but typically I wind daily after a shower etc (they are both on leather) one just gets into the habit. IM...

Re: Sonnerie or repeater in 2022?

The Meistersinger Bell Hora does sound cool.
But it could be that they have got hold of some AS5008 movements. Thus, make a limited edition Day, Date and Alarm. Either would be great.

Re: NPD T4 project

I think that the sw200 movement does not lend itself well to decoration, mainly due to size. The decorated versions that I have seen always seem to be trying too hard. The Omega 8806 is 4mm larger and I feel takes the decoration better and is a bit prettier to look at. Thus, I would say have a close...

Re: Watches that will satisfy you into old age

I am looking at my collection in a different way and potential purchases in the same way.
High contrast dials.
With eyesight getting worse watches with dates are a waste.

Rolex non date sub & explorer 1 fit well into that category.

Re: NPD T4 project

Blue dial/ blue bezel, Black dial / black bezel, White dial / black bezel, White dial / blue bezel Applied twin flag logo at the 12. Underneath twin flag logo 'Trident' in contrast colour Date at the 6 position and a non date version Date wheel to match dial = black / silver text, blue / silver text...

Re: Same old, Same old from CW?

Why do you think CW had a significant notice period before anything was made public? Setting aside the point that in corporate life when a senior person leaves they are generally just gone, there is also the not insignificant detail that IIRC CW was not a significant shareholder in the business. Ne...
