I have a victorinox with that movement, plus, I used that one in my home build watches (5) and every one runs at about +0.1 secs per day.

It survived well, sapphire glass recessed under bezel slightly, come with a protective bumper if you want to use it, quartz, accurate, easy to read, tank resistant! The bezel is a bit of a scratch magnet...

Re: The urge to acquire (or collect)?
Funny this thread has started. It has been going through my mind recently that my interest in new acquisitions has substantially declined I can trace this back to buying an SC before Xmas. It had to sit in the box for a few weeks before getting to wear it and I think that has been influential in rea...

Re: CW stopping quartz watch development
If you can get a mechanical for a few hundred bucks, where is the profit in lower priced quartz. Good move CW. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk There is money to be made in quartz, when a new movement can be bought for less than £10, and mass produced cases come in pretty cheap. As an example, V...

I found cupping the watch case in my non dominant hand enough to hold the case while the friction ball did its job. I did have to press the ball hard, but, this way there is no risk of damage to the case. As previously mentioned, I found it helped to split a link on the bracelet, it allowed more pre...

You may have to split a link if the watch is on a bracelet to allow the ball in.
