Ah. Thanks Bahnstormer
I found a picture of an older Speedhawk with a displayback, so I would imagine it looks very similar.

Valjoux 7750 Grade - C60 Chronograph
Does anyone know what grade the Valjoux 7750 is in the C60 Chrono?
Also, does anyone have any photos of the movement (cased in the watch, sans case back?)
Cheers!

I saw them in AmericanWay magazine... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_ZCzW5Je-Zfzh5-uUxtSZAXT7uT0otAoJZv_UTsgwwWijvRfZ09fVebd6s7Q-cCFNkmylvZh_-VfN_U9l3mm18-SWYtjDEh9DAaun1jKxrrAoxTG44SquWUGcx8-FmjHaOsm3FcFigINyNEuXnImWiM2ZceO8j7svarNfKFtabSF1122iADcUKR42PuxFwOVqtxOXxkyyKVcTB-Nab9lU3Qd7b...

Re: C1 Grand Malvern Power Reserve
My good lord, that C1 Grand Malvern is ridiculously beautiful. That is the exact style I have been looking at (white dial, camel strap). It would be my first non-bracelet watch. I have been scouring the Sales Forum for someone to catch/release one :) On another note, I wonder if CW will ever make an...

Re: Date at 4 O'Clock position
I think this looks much better...
That is a stunner! The symmetry works and I would happily stray from my "all-bracelet" watch habit for this

Re: Date at 4 O'Clock position
@reggie747 I dont think cost would rise (if so, by mere pennies...) Date Wheels are plastic, pad-printed parts that are produced en masse ... many times as generic, commodity font parts (especially for movements that are commodity... ETA autos and quartz). They can be very easily and inexpensively s...

Date at 4 O'Clock position
I may be in the minority here (you all will certainly let me know :D ) but I happen to like the Date at 4 O'Clock. The C30 Chronometer is a great example. Another post here by @Boydesian got me looking at it. It is a stunner of a watch. And the date location is beautifully placed for that dial. My p...

Re: Damaged Watch returned after service by CW
Oy, I can appreciate your concerns. I have the C60 COSC, which was one link too large when I got it. I took it to my local jeweler (the owner of the establishment is a friend of mine). They are a Rolex AD, so I would assume they would know how to change a link on this watch. Their watch guy (not a w...

Re: Mount Trident
FYI: Bremont sells the Regatta OTUSA Sailing watch for ~$7000 and it has a small piece of the America's Cub winning Sail Boat in the crown... a piece of the f***ing SIAL... like, a negligible amount of material embedded in the crown. ... thats what you get for $7k US.

Re: Mount Trident
I'm not trying to be a sour apple amongst all of you (presumably) good apples... but I see these things differently, and I think the disdain is generally misguided. What CW are doing, considering the scale of their operations, is very admirable. They are not a behemoth like Rolex or Breitling... or ...

Re: C60 VintageSteel
Wow. It really does look awesome in all different configurations! I just purchased the C60 Vintage from magicman and I can't wait to put it on a Bond NATO. I think I will also get the Vintage Leather strap. Both will be my first foray into non-bracelets... I have never been a switcher of bands, and ...

Re: Hodinkee editorial critical of the CW C9 DB4 1 VEV
While I am not a "buyer" in the sense that I feel like these watches speak to me, I am a fan of them. By that I mean, a fan of the design and what they represent. I don't feel like CW are trying to be pretentious or high-street in making these watches. I think they are merging three differ...

Re: Hands and indices not matching up
Well said @robinbarke :) At any rate, if you set it to 12:00 on the nuts, and everything lines up, then it is POSSIBLY the placement (or, in the case of these long-ish batons, the angle) of the indices. Generally speaking, the rotation of the hour pinion in the train is pretty uniform, but as all th...

Re: C60 Trident COSC
I wear it daily, and honestly have never had a problem with readability. There is plenty of contrast, as the bright polished hands reflect almost all surrounding colors. The hands and hour batons are very legible. This can be seen as well on the pictures of the C60 Vintage... You will notice that th...

Re: C60 Trident COSC (SH21) is 10 seconds fast after 12 hour
FYI, I tested with a compass, and there was very little (f any movement). However, I did realize that the watch box it was sitting in was on my desk, under a short Monitor Stand which holds a 27" LED Monitor, Bose Mini SoundLink speaker, and sits in front of my Mac Mini. I believe the combinati...
