Re: Not everythink from China is wrong

I'm very happy with my three recent purchases from China, yes they are homages but IMO very good ones. The overall quality is excellent for the price, and the Sea-Gull ST1901 movement in each are proving to be very accurate. On the Timegrapher all are running very cleanly and within 1 or 2 spd, and ...

 No, I was just genuinely blown away with the quality of these Speedmaster homages for the money, so I thought I'd try another.

They are all proving to be very accurate so far as well...

I'm really enjoying this https://i.imgur.com/WusOnWi.jpg Glad you're enjoying it... I must ask what appeals considering it's a fake.. Not being conflictive, genuinely interested Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes it's not the real thing, it's a homage. However it is very good value for money, b...

Re: Deployant newbie

I hate seeing a tail on a strap, so I use Bader or Omega style deployant clasps on leather and mesh straps. The CW straps with Bader clasp used to be brilliant, possibly the best clasp and I've ever experienced. CW used to have a good variety of straps available with the Bader clasp (also different ...

Resurrecting this thread... I used to be a bit uncomfortable with homage watches, but then some time ago I came to the conclusion that most watches, even many claiming to be original designs, are in fact homages in one way or another. Then just recently I totally changed my job from desk based to a...

Re: C63 Sealander Collection

Just received my latest acquisition a black dial C63. I was really impressed with the white dial, but the black is something else, pictures don't do it justice.

I've used Hirsch spring bars for years and never had any failures. Amazon sell them, and for 20mm bars there is a choice of 1.5mm or 1.8mm diameter. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hirsch-Spring-Bars-1-5mm-Diameter/dp/B07DDGYBL4?th=1 Also available on WatchObsession https://www.watchobsession.co.uk/product...

Re: C63 Sealander White Dial Strap Suggestions

I’ve really been mulling over a black and orange tide strap, but I’ve been a bit on the fence about its comfort (and because I’ve never met a strap that I prefer to a bracelet). I usually prefer a bracelet, and I have a strong dislike for rubber or traditional NATO, but I do really like adjustable ...
