Re: C11 Extreme
It is a great and very wearable watch, I picked mine up in the last sale and it gets more wrist time than any other watch I own.. CW at their best imho

Basically it was that the whole package has to be right.

Re: Why the new trident (second hand) design?
Not unfinished, just flat and brushed to match the other hands, it would look weird with flat brushed hands and a non flat polished second hand No issues with brushed finish, Infact I prefer it in many instances, or blued on a pale face even, I'm just not convinced by the appearance of the watch as...

Hopefully she has been poached rather than pushed . She was an absolute star . Good luck to her ! A question for Chat with Chris? Guy Sent from my Xperia Z5 Premium Not sure it's a topic that is suitable. Personal cercumstances are not for a public q&a . Yes but no but.. Agree about personal ci...

Re: Why the new trident (second hand) design?
Agreed the new one although still a trident does look kinda cheap, almost unfinished or an afterthought somehow..st-rider wrote:Having now seen that I agree
Will have to keep a keen eye out for this sort of stuff in the future.
I'll also need to keep my eyes open the this sort of stuff moving forward

Re: my C11 broke........
My thoughts vary ... Some years ago I bought a brand new discovery ( at a huge discount and tax free).. It wasn't perfect, there were a couple of flaws in the finishing all of which I not only sort expected but also celebrated as part of what made it My Land Rover and not some one else's ... That sa...

Re: Are we representative of CWL buyers
I think this is an interesting question, and although we can't be definate what we can say is that as a forum we have X amount of members, with 643 active members this month realistically most of 643 will have purchased on average no more than 3 CW watches in the last year some possibly more others ...

Re: Poll (Non-Binding): Help Me Start My Collection
Hi Jay, life's to short for black and white mate.. The red bezel end C60 pro on a leather is pretty much as versatile as you can get in my book.. The face layout gives it an appearance which separates it from a standard diver, all I can put it down to is a bit of inspiration on the designers part us...

Re: Who is the front man these days?
This is all very interesting. But I am not suprised. I have sensed the dominant influence of Mike France over the last year or so. He is, unfortunately, leading the brand into unchartered waters he knows nothing about and at the same time destroying the brand and its reputation built thus far The, ...

No, it's not just the logo. Problems are/were The logo - font & left justification Its positioning Badly arranged website with; Missing items Missing sections Watches in the wrong section Trite & misleading watch descriptions Inane comments about 'no batteries required' Abuse / belittling o...

Re: Who is the front man these days?
Back on the disruptive marketing topic. What better way for a company to buck the trend than to hold true, at all costs, to the idea that the guy who has his name on the dial has looked after each and every one of his sales? That's positively shocking, to apply old fashioned values, like integrity ...

Re: Who is the front man these days?
I can't dispute your logic there Richard, and given that the response to the new logo et al also came from Mr France, I'm inclined to agree .. In respect of corporateisation ( not sure that's a real word) we will most certainly see changes, to the product, identity, and general feel as a corporate i...
