Re: Legibility
My question is: Can you change the hands? If anyone from CW reads thus, an official answer would be helpful too. Was this not obvious to the designers when a prototype was produced? Changing the hands should be easily done by any competent watchmaker, but I'd check with CW to see if that will inval...

Legibility
I own 22 ChrWard watches ( must update profile!) The Mono Pusher gets too little wrist time down to the legibility - or lack of - of the various hands. Being slow to learn a lesson I have just bought a C9 Big Day Date and if too has an almost illegible set of hands. I should add it's a beautiful wat...

Re: New arrival, C9 Harrison Blue
Looks fabulous. I own the Chrono version so maybe I'm biased but that looks like a keeper to me. Very striking. I actually prefer this version to the Chrono.

Adjusting Chronograph Hands To zero Position Example: one or several chronograph hands are not in their correct zero positions and have to be adjusted (e.g. following a battery change). • Pull out the crown to position 3 (all three chronograph hands are in their correct or incorrect zero position)....

Re: MEGA 15 Weekend Sale has begun
CW sales follow a pattern, so anyone who has been around for a year or two will know that there is usually a 15% off sale on the last weekend in November. Just too bad if people have poor memories. ........ and of course you will have to give up buying from Amazon as their prices go up and down alm...

Re: MEGA 15 Weekend Sale has begun
Oh joy! So glad I took delivery of the C1000 (new model no less) and a 2013FLE in the last two weeks. Still, I didn't really need that £300 ( yeh right!) Whatever the commercial imperative/ reality this nevertheless leaves a bad taste. I know, I could buy two more and send the other two back for a f...

Re: C1000 Typhoon lands safely
Right, quick update. I sent Wera an email explaining problem and got a quick, pragmatic & decent reply. First she agreed that the strap was not up to standard and explained CW were withdrawing it from sale until a suitable strap is sourced. She went on to apologise and offered to send a complime...

Re: C1000 Typhoon lands safely
Hopefully these two pics highlight the strap issue. First the official pic: http://i1319.photobucket.com/albums/t670/Jimleymurmer/image_zpscccc1917.jpg As you can see the band is thick with what looks like a cream coloured calf leather inside. There is also quite large 'hand made looking' sti...

Re: C1000 Typhoon lands safely
A strap the thickness of the C8 Vintage pilot but in black was the expectation. It doesn't come close.
CW- any suggestions? How would the C8 strap look? It looks fine on the PVD C8. Might consider this...Would have to sacrifice the Bader clasp which is comfortable & quick.

C1000 Typhoon lands safely
http://i1319.photobucket.com/albums/t670/Jimleymurmer/image_zpsa6fe6b1a.jpg So, after a long wait the C1000 Typhoon arrives and the good news for CW is I will be keeping it but....slightly underwhelmed. To begin with I should never have tried on the IWC Top Gun range by way of comparison as ...

Re: C900
I bought one and it's a great watch but at twice the price of the ltd edition, gen1 Jumping Hour, it was always going to be a difficult on line sell.

Re: Just charge one price!
Marketing aside... If I am happy with the product and satisfied at what I paid. Why should I be upset if someone else pays less. If I am fortunate to get something I want for less than list, then lucky me. I bought a DVD player when they first came out for $800.00. within a year they were available...

Re: Just charge one price!
seriously, though, you're not comparing the position louis vuitton is to the position CWL is, are you? take the louis vuitton stock and put it in the position CWL is as a brand and see if that works out so well for them. If you read my post again you'll see I was using LV as the pinnacle of lux goo...
