Re: CWL of the day

Added the bracelet. I didn’t know the 22mm and the 20mm versions used the same clasp. The taper on the 22mm is therefore much more noticeable than on the 20mm.

Re: Do you wear a different watch every day?

I’ve only got eight watches and a Seiko quartz which only ever comes out for decorating and DIY duties but otherwise sits unworn. For the rest, they mostly all get worn in equal measure, with one or two favourites of the month getting worn a little more often. I tend to have two on the go at any one...

Re: Bremont - The Wing

^^^^ don’t go starting that rumour. There are some people on the internet who think Bremont are already the devil in disguise. There will be a story soon that they’ve become a real life James Bond villain, all because he continues to chose Omega over Bremont and they are out for revenge, Anyway, we ...

Repair times

AD83C111-6F2F-4395-85F8-C84FBB34B17F.jpeg On 15th August I posed this picture of my bronze trident. The incident happened that day and within a couple of days it was on its way to CW for repair. Communication every step of the way has been perfect and I’ve received regular email updates to keep me ...

Re: Bremont - The Wing

Good to know, I assume that are all their cases are manufactured in Henley from raw materials. I really should make a visit, I only live a few miles away. From we learned on the day, it sounds like the Wing is just bringing everything together under one roof (or wing). It would seem that Bremont ha...

Re: Bremont - The Wing

Guy and Wyatt - You may have seen this as you left the car park after me - just as I was leaving a Virgin Air-balloon came over. They are quite regular in this area but it was so low that I could see the people in it and it looked like it was about to land in 1 of the fields surrounding The Wing's ...

Re: The race for Emma's wrist space

This question was jokingly asked yesterday on our Bremont tour.
While the answer was lighthearted, I found the comment that Bremont cannot afford to pay stars £2m plus to wear their watches quite telling on the amount of money these agreements cost.

Bremont - The Wing

Thanks to Guy (Bahnstormer_vRS) and Mick (Mikkei4) a few of us had a fantastic day out yesterday touring the Wing, Bremonts new manufacturing and technology centre along with an excellent pub lunch. I’d certainly recommend this to everyone. It was a long day out for me, travelling from Halifax and b...

Re: Is less more?

I had been happy with my smaller collection, then it grew to about 10 watches which I think was too much. I traded a couple and sold a few and reduced my collection down to 6 which I was happy with. I seem to have accidentally added 3 more over the summer and I’m again starting to think I’ve got too...
