In the nato strap that came with the watch, I quite like it.

Re: SOTC Iain March 2024
I didn't realise you have a Damasko in the box, and it's a great great watch. The Damasko was something I had been thinking about for a while. Last year I went on my big holiday to the far east. I had planned to take my small Bremont but it developed a fault a few weeks before so I took my IWC on a...

Re: SOTC Iain March 2024
As for the ingenieur… no problems justifying it is worth the high price? Massive premium v the mk xx with the same iwc movement. Nice watch but far from cheap! Therein lies the problem, the Ingenieur is rather expensive. It won’t be an immediate decision so I’ve time to wait and see how the used ma...

SOTC Iain March 2024
It’s been a year since I last updated my collection on here, so I thought a new post was in order. Heres a link to last years SOTC post Once again in order of acquisition, here is my current collection. First up is the only IWC still in my collection. IWC are my favourite brand and I’ve made that we...

Re: Just a place to put nice pictures you’ve taken
Visited the Rex cinema in Elland this morning for their early film showing. They had the organ player on before the film and she returned along with an ice cream seller during the interval. All for £5 a person, and £2.50 an ice cream. The elderly bloke in front who snored through most of the screeni...

Re: Ideas required
You could always fit something like this.
Do a google search for ‘home parcel box’ and you’ll find lots of inspiration.

Nice collection you’ve acquired. I’m a Bremont fan but agree with you that I don’t think the Airco looks right on that nato. The Bremont bracelet isn’t great but it would suit a strap well.

Re: Ooh - cancel the August holiday!!!
I was glad to hear that the new HQ will still be close by in Maidenhead. I'll be there asap. With rumours circulating that Bremont are scaling back plans for production in the UK, I thought CW could have put in a cheeky offer to buy the wing off them. We’ll have to organise another forum outi...

Re: Non CW of the Day
Home early from my cursed holiday. First the last minute change of accommodation, then this morning we have a call from my daughter’s friend who looks after the cat to say he’s not well. Pack up and head home and are now just waiting to go to the vets.

“We’ve received your watch, we will now return it to the manufacturer for assessment and repair. The process can take 6-8 weeks.” 6-8 weeks later “Hello, any update on my watch?” “Sorry sir, it appears to still be in customs in Germany and hasn’t reached the manufacturer yet. Now I know it’s stuck i...

Thanks for sharing.
I did find it interesting to note that Kate, the marketing director, never once referred to the company as Christopher Ward, only ever CW. Especially given her role within the company.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Definitely give it serious thought. I've sold off watches that I really enjoyed as part of the process of "upgrading", only to now start downgrading as it's really not everything I thought it would be. :problem: They're just watches, so if you enjoy what you have, stick firm. Not everyone...
