Just a note of warning. The small straps are quite a bit smaller than standard, I had mine replaced and the clasp now sits in the 3rd hole of the strap but the rest of the strap doesn't reach the 2nd loop. Not complaining as it was my choice and the service was excellent, just making everyone aware....

I'm not really a watch collector, so buying tools to make alterations doesn't come into it. From my point of view it is just like returning a faulty electrical item for a new one. We shall assume that you are nervous about changing the straps yourself then. You might consider investing in a strap changing tool and practice. It may simplify your life and expand your ability to vary your collection with different straps. Assume what you like but in this case you assume wrong. ...

Well i called CW to ask for options. 1. was to pay for new straps to be sent out for me to fit - about £120 up front from me which would be refunded on my return of original straps or 2. return both watches for exchange for same with small straps. I chose option 2.

Not sure about returning or exchanging but I'd be interested in know what they say to you as I'm trying to decide which strap size to go for myself. Would you say they are much too big? I'm on the last hole and it's a bit loose still. I could get away with it but having spent nearly £500 i rather have it right. If i can find a tape measure i'll check my wrist size, that may help you.

strap replacement
Hi all. Bought 2 watches recently and the standard straps are too big. Will CW let me return them and have small straps fitted instead? or do i have to return and purchase again this time with small straps? Thanks in advance, blacky
