Re: Exclusive CW Forum Prototype Sale

So, how many members will need to sell off something in their current collections to afford what they purchased today? ;) Me...!!!! I was looking to raise funds anyways, and as I bought a couple off here, ill float them here again. In fact, 1 is a prototype #000  I'm sure someone on the forum ...

Re: Exclusive CW Forum Prototype Sale

Is this just like cleaning the cupboards and drawers out to see if there is an odd £1 coin lurking ! Maybe, but to some people that £1 is dinner for the evening and others it's lost in the rounding, only you know whether a prototype/non-production run watch is important. For me it would be pretty c...

Re: Broken second hand

I had a hand issue with my watch (The chronograph hand moved off of the midnight position depending on which way the watch was being worn). I contacted CW customer services and it’s being repaired by them. Not sure about whether my home insurance would cover that as no identifiable cause, but not ov...

Re: Exclusive CW Forum Prototype Sale

A quick glance at some recent topics on this board shows a clear flurry of consecutive posts from users marked as newbies who have less than 25 posts who have suddenly become active today after many months away, funny that. My favourite being a user who posted many times today and stopped bang on 2...

Re: F1 2021 Motorsport Thread

I’m not sure it’s a DQ though, because the infringement wasn’t severe (obviously the crash). With the Leclerc one the view I saw had Lewis much closer to the apex so had no where to go. It looked like he was far enough alongside so that Leclerc could see him and if he had turned in would be penalise...

Re: F1 2021 Motorsport Thread

I seem to be the only one who thinks the stewards got that call completely right. I think Lewis was probably more to blame than Verstappen, but neither party were anything close to innocent (Lewis off the apex and Max turning in knowing Lewis was there). Up until this point Max has got away from the...

Re: Stick or twist - What next after 'Trusty Steed' Kevin?

mini countryman vs discovery/RR = nearly the same size? are you on glue? This almost killed me! For what my view is worth I’m trying to help my mother in law replace her car, and I’ve been finding the same as the others that the prices are very inflated at the moment. We’ve looked at dealers, garag...

Re: Ward Hoard

I thought I’d close the loop on this as I did end up buying from Ward Hoard. Overall very positive on the service offered by Dan, friendly chap, good communications, posted quickly (although UPS did their best to slow that down), and the watch is pristine. Lots of comments about pricing above, but ...
