Re: C4 'Phoenix'
Mine has arrived no. 1741. Slightly taller on the wrist than I expected but nothing I won't get used to. Amazed and thrilled with the value that the watch represents. Agree with the remarks about the leather strap - very long for a standard. I've ordered a C70 Black Bader to put onto it so will let ...

Got my dispatch email too. Have altered the significant-other's plans for tomorrow to ensure she's onsite to receive and sign for! She's not happy but I'm delighted it is on it's way.

Re: A few pics of the C9 Small Seconds
PR indicator is on my list of wants. A small PR dial on the C9 SS would be perfect. It's absence isn't enough to stop me wanting a C9 SS at the moment though.

Re: C9 5-day Small Seconds is finally here!
I was excited about this watch when I saw the release information so many months back now. I think it is a beautiful watch to look at, the numerals (IV vs. IIII) doesn't both me at all. The date window is a little larger than on some recent CWs which I think really helps keep the shadowing down and ...

Re: C4 'Phoenix'
I'd been watching the online auctions for a C4 for a while, wanted an new EDW and an alarm is a really useful feature and what keeps me wedded to my Tissot T-Touch normally. So when I got the email on the re-issue I jumped on it. Mixed feelings about the old logo - conclusion is that it is what it i...

Re: C9 40mm SH21 small seconds
I'm very interested in this watch as I have been looking for a manual winder to add to the collection and had previously been close to purchasing the Slimline. Much of the commentary seems to be down to personal taste. For me the numerals and the date are balanced and well positioned. Price will be ...

+ 1 on the mid-size question, but also:
Do the complication variations include plans for a mechanical alarm?
Thanks.

Re: Big reveal
Too big for me Shame as it is a nice looking watch and I like the concept behind the movement. Perhaps I'll wait for the 41mm, power reserve, chronograph version

Re: US Post Office not allowing watches to goto UK?
It could be the lithium battery -if it has one. Here in the UK we now have to declare that if the watch has a lithium battery then the battery is not loose but actually inside the watch. It's a newish regulation; but it hasn't stopped my sending watches at all. Another anti-terrorist measure? Not a...

Re: Power reserve
Sounds like it needs a service.
My Omega was down to less than 10 hours reserve and even 1800 Turns per day on my winder was keeping it running. Had it serviced and it easily lasts 24hours plus without movement from (I presume a full wind) and seems to be very happy at 700 tpd on my autowinder.
