Re: #tide strap comfort

^^^ thanks everyone. I think that the close-up pic confirms me that I don’t really want to try shortening a 3mm thick strap that costs a lot of money! However, the length isn’t off the scale (CW site quoted the length as 124mm so I was a bit confused??), so I’m going to try one. They look fant...

Re: #tide strap comfort

I have a few questions for #tide strap owners if you have a moment: How long are the two pieces of the strap? WRT the material- if it’s made of plastic do you think it would be possible to shorten the strap then melt the end like you would a NATO? Also - do you think it would be possible to put an e...

Re: Do you wear a different watch every day?

I wear my 10 watches in rotation (in the order they are listed on the watch check app!). 3 days per watch then move on to the next one. One of the watches I will check and record its accuracy in different positions each day and record on the app. It sounds a bit obsessive but I like spending a litt...

Re: Do you wear a different watch every day?

...ahem, yes, well it makes sense in my head anyway! Doesn't everyone do this..? :escape: Haha! I think you’ve picked out the fact that there’s probably a fair bit of complexity in how we choose what watch to wear. My suggestions don’t cover horological fairy dust and lucky watches and feelin...

Do you wear a different watch every day?

If so, I’m curious as to how you choose which one to wear? Do you have a set rotation that you follow? Do you choose according to the style of the day eg business / home / sport? Do you choose according to what clothes you’re wearing that day? Do you choose the one that cries out to you from the wat...
