Re: Ronda Movements
I'm wearing a Lillienthal Berlin watch at this moment with a Ronda quartz movement. Wouldn't hesitate to buy a Ronda-based watch.

Re: London Calling. CW's new advertising campaign
I noticed CW adverts on the big digital screens at both Kings Cross and Liverpool St. I thought CW's original positioning was that they kept the prices of their watches down by not doing mass advertising like the traditional brands?

Nice if you like enamel-look faces. Seiko do some similar.

Re: ETA 2824-2 or Sellita SW200-1 movement
I've got to say that I find the it an annoyance that CW don't specify exactly which movement is used. I totally appreciate that the ETA and Sellita movements are nearly identical. But they aren't totally identical and CW himself has said that the Sellita is probably better because it's made on newer...

Re: Re-Branding and new models
The website's fine but I have to say, having waited a long while for the MkII C65, I'm underwhelmed. I assume other sizes will be released soon. My main gripe with the C65 MkI as an all-round classic sports watch was it's ashtray size and the new one is exactly the same.

Re: Sending Watches Back
I recently got a C60 Pro 600 in the sale. I adjusted the bracelet and wore it a bit before twigging that it runs about +17s. This is within spec (+/-20) but to my mind pretty poor. Having worn it and scratched the bracelet slightly adjusting it (if only they used screw links like Steinhart) I didn't...

Re: C65 I need to make this grow on me
Got to agree with many of the other comments. The old C65 is just too big. I can't wait to see the new one (with smaller size options) that it's making way for.

Re: Two New Sale Arrivals....Now With Some Pictures
I've just had my sale C60 Pro 600 with green bezel arrive. Here's a pic https://goo.gl/photos/C7hhUVrvnjPAG1Bg8 Overall I'm chuffed with the style and build quality especially at the sale price! A couple of minor irritations. The bracelet is high quality and I like the new adjuster but I have a real...

Re: Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military Review
I've got an OVM and it's a nice watch. I've worn it often using NATO straps (same 22mm size as a CW Trident) but it's on the bracelet at the moment. I really rate the bracelet... the quality is very good and the screw pins for the links are the best system I've come across. Far better than prodding ...

Re: The "Average" Sale
I've got a green-bezelled Trident on the way at half price so can't complain about the CW sale policy. I have in the past though. I got my Trident GMT (previous model) NATO at full price before I knew "how the system worked" so was gnashing my teeth when the next discount deal came around....

Re: I appear to have another C60 inbound....
Another one here. C60 Pro 600 43mm, green bezel, black face on the bracelet. This is actually my favourite colour combination so when it came up half price I didn't hesitate. Steinhart do an Ocean 1 with green bezel for £300 odd which I've looked at a time or two but with the Trident discounted to t...

Re: New C60's
I liked the chrono at first look but now think the dial looks a bit cluttered... with the gold, lots of writing and blinking seconds indicator. The titanium ones are bizarre. Grey on black has to be the ultimate in style of substance...
