Re: Falling In Love with the Vintage Trident

Well if you decide that this precioussss isn't right for Smeagol you can always send it to the nasty hobbit who hadn't before seen that dial/hand/bezel combo in a polished steel case and thinks it should be his.

Re: New CW Sealander Chronograph

I can fess up to working through the "Quartz allergy - I've discovered autos thing" in the past. Suffice to say I learned the wisdom of Amor Vincit Omnia to not be so bothered and currently own a number of CW quartz chronos, included in which is the C30 COSC LE chrono and which I might fan...

Re: What camera are you using?

For wrist shots and watches generally it's "the camera in my pocket" my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The photos - and it shows - are nearly always quick and dirty, cropped to fill the frame and I guess maybe 1 day in 7 I'll take the watch off and pose the shot with a focus on light, avoiding ref...

Re: Christopher Ward Survey

Once an individual can complete a survey more than once, the results become invalid. I agree, particularly if the 2nd set of answers are what you think CW are hoping to hear. Maybe the sub-text is "let's see what they all think we want to hear from them and let's see who lists Seiko among &quo...

Re: Christopher Ward Survey

If you could do that clearly something is wrong and C.W. they should do something about it because the end result will not be the right one. Once an individual can complete a survey more than once, the results become invalid. I've just completed the survey myself and I have to say it seems very bad...

Oh that's drop dead gorgeous, and I've been eyeing one up for a while. Congrats! I think it's a great looking watch

Re: Christopher Ward Survey

Done! Would I be the only person who completed the CW survey twice? First time around was taking the link from this post, second time around was responding to a direct email from Christopher Ward/CW. (Fast forward to the section on direct emails from CW and how much they make me feel closer to the ...

Re: Ooh - cancel the August holiday!!!

Thanks for sharing. I did find it interesting to note that Kate, the marketing director, never once referred to the company as Christopher Ward, only ever CW. Especially given her role within the company. Yes, interesting and it leads me to wonder whether the brand identity is quietly being reposit...

I am literally buying nothing watchwise to leave me suitably resourced to meet the 20th Anniversary challenges.

It must be "time for a service": I wanted to wear yellow tomorrow.

Re: C7 Rosso Corsa Service

P.S. I'm less satisfied with the amount of paperwork I had to prepare both when sending and receiving the watch, paperwork required by DHL, but here I had no choice, as long as I don't live in the UK. It's of no consolation but for us Brits dealing with watches across the Channel in either directio...

Ooh - cancel the August holiday!!!

This vid was produced for the WatchGecko channel before the recent 'Makers Day. https://youtu.be/8n50JJp1GH8?si=_o2e-nAzFLfDkrhJ Say what you like about Mike, he's certainly a disrupter!!!  We get, again, a heads up for new launches at the end of April " A very remarkable watch "...
