Re: The Curmudgeons Corner

I don't understand why we can't discuss items in this thread. Some of them need a discussion. Come on guys. Well apparently comments may upset the person who is having the specific rant. Well IIRC that is how it was explained to me, when I made a similar observation a few years ago... :si...

Re: Spring bar tweezers

Richard I have both the Bergeon 6825 and 7825. I think that the 7825 are easier to use. So even if not getting the Bergeon version, I would get the style of the 7825.

Planning your next trip, Neil?

Guy
Yep. Checking out some routes for our next trip to the Lake District. A holiday rebooked from last year.

^^^ Ah yes the 13ft Ivan Marks Persuader. Had one of those, together with the 10ft swing tip ledger Rod. I reckon I still have them somewhere.

scooter - I started fishing when I was about 6 or 7. Local brook about 100 yards from the house; catching eels and brown trout. Re: “Collections within Collections”

^^^ wow, beautiful watches Neil, the Moser being my pick of the bunch. I've been an admirer of them for a while but unlikely to own one, the dial just shouts quality and depth! Thanks Stephen. I bought it from another forum. One of those occasions of “buy the seller”. A longstanding reputable membe...

Re: “Collections within Collections”

I think that for many of us it is quite natural to end up with “collections within collections”. Personally I have never been drawn to the concept of trying to have as wide a range of brands and styles, with minimal duplication, to end up with a collection where a fellow collector may comment “ah th...

Wow, that video shows off the beautiful lacquer dial.....I'm impressed...

Still...I'll wait for other colorways and larger size...prefer something other than orange...would be cool to see red or brown....
I think you will be waiting a long time for a larger size.
