Re: Gotta love a bargain!

I totally agree that you have to see this watch in the flesh, I was purchasing a few timepieces at Park St when Helix Von Smelix walked in the showroom and the 2013 FLE was brought out for him to view. At this point I had no inkling about the FLE but after seeing it when I got home I emailed Wera my...

I was just thinking that they may be worth a punt just for the strap alone.

I quite like the Carrera Twin Time with its simple clean uncluttered dail.

Re: Steinhart Germany

Thank you Gentlemen for your kind words, I am very pleased with the OVM and depending on what CWL do with the SH21 in a Chronograph. Then a Racetimer could most definitely be on the cards at €905 p+p incl (£725) bargain.

Re: Steinhart Germany has arrived

So after much ado I took delivery today of a Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military. The story of this Homage Timepiece intrigued me somewhat it being based on the Rolex Submariner Ref 5517 commissioned by The Royal Navy in the late 60s early 70s and only 1200 being made. And as original examples of the W...

Re: C60 sans Pip - how much to worry about the pip?

I also sent my C60 back to CWL Towers after the original decided to part company with the rest of the Watch for a new pip under warranty. They sent the returns kit out the next day and seven days later the Watch returned with new pip, that will hopefully stay put. Maybe they should consider a more p...

Re: Tool kit, advise please

Any of the Cheap Kits on EBay will do the simple jobs of Bracelet adjustments, holding the Watch securely with strap removal etc but as a lot of members on here suggest buy a good spring bar removal tool the Bergeon F6767seems to be a favourite.
