Re: #tide strap comfort

I’m alternating between the #tide and the hybrid on my Sealander for the next couple of weeks. The #tide quickly became very comfortable.

Re: Blue Dial Sealander Automatic in Stock

I do like watches with blue dials, but I definitely think I made the right decision in picking the black dial version of the GMT. I’ve been wearing it pretty exclusively since I got it, I’m on holiday with it at the moment and I’m just so impressed.

Thanks Brian. Yes it’s 39mm and doesn’t wear big in my opinion. Perfect size.

Re: We Invite you

^^^ Indeed - they are excellent. I just added the first review of a Sealander (the GMT). We have a lot of happy owners of all three watches so it would be good if they could be rated.

Re: Watch running slow…question

Back to slow…

I’m pleased to report that my Sealander GMT, after two weeks of running, seems to have settled in at around -1 s/d. It seems to lose that on the wrist during the day and then remains pretty stable dial up at night. If it performs no worse than that I shall be extremely happy. 8)

No need to guess. I did exactly the same a few weeks back – inadvertently set my watch to the wrong five-minute mark. Easily done. 8)

Re: “Nereus” - a review of the C63 Sealander GMT

Well, after a couple of weeks this watch has seemed to settle into a pattern of losing about one second per day. As far as I can see it appears to do that on the wrist during the day and hold pretty steady at night with the dial up on the bedside table. I’m very happy with that. :D

Re: White C63 readability?

I have always had similar concerns about white dials with white hands, but I’m happy to accept if people say they are perfectly legible, as Steve does above. The main sticking point with me, though, is that I don’t actually like the look, and the same goes for black-black (stealth) watches such as t...

Re: Watch running slow…question

Might I make a further suggestion, Andrew? If it turns out that the rate of your watch is consistent at around -10 S/D, then you might do in reverse what I do with my Speedy. It gains between 8 and 9 seconds per day – always has – so if I’m going to wear it for a period of time and keep it running I...
