I'm a kiwi and find cricket boring, to play and to watch. I do however enjoy going to a baseball game whenever I am in the US of A. Not so keen on watching it on TV though.

I just keep my C8 MkII in it's watch winder. The winder is battery powered so I don't have to worry about cables when I am out and about and it keeps the watch safe from dings 8)

I would like a Rolex Milsub or similar from the year I was born, which was 1974.

Doesn't have to be a Rolex, just something "special" from that year, adn whikst I wouldn't buy a new Rolex, I do think the old ones have something going for them

Demand a strap for the price you were quoted of $5. That is "bait and switch" garbage. If you aren't satisfied I would return the watch and take my business somewhere else. That's what I thought initially but I calmly read the rest of the thread. The SKU that is referenced on the invoice ...

Is the bubble on the other watch you linked to necessary (in your opinion) or is it just easier for them to l eave it with a bubble?

How do you change the battery again?
