Re: Incoming (arrived) Retirement Gift

Congratulations on your retirement! That is a most excellent leaving gift. Here’s to Bob MK2 enjoying the role and working with what sounds like a thoroughly decent person.

Re: Your Favorite British Bands from the 80's

The 80s saw me listening to Gary Numan in his post Tubeway Army form, alongside many of the bands already listed.

Re: Hodinkee Atlanta

It’s always great to see CWL’s holding their own. Not sure of the two fingered gesture Jamil Harris was giving though! Does it mean something different in the States?

Re: “The Twelve” is live

Well done to all who respected the embargo. I can imagine it felt like keeping the lid on a rapidly boiling pot at times! It’s a lovely range. I am looking very closely at the ti range.

Re: CW Preview: The Twelve

Is it possible that CWL have delved into their back catalogue and reworked the C20 to bring the integrated bracelet and slim case up to date? A homage of a homage… of a homage? Whatever it is, it’ll be splendid even if it doesn’t sing to everyone.

That does look splendid! I’ve watched the development of this range with interest and the applied twin flag logo is one of the most exciting developments I’ve seen for the CWL brand.

Re: Why wouldn’t you wear this watch?

I’d wear it because looking at it every day would make me smile and remember not to take things too seriously. I’d be able to tell the time on it because by now, I know where the hands are in relation to hours and minutes. If for some reason I forgot, I’d be able to work things out by looking at the...

Re: C1 Bel Canto Preview

It looks splendid and puts me in mind of the reveal of the C900 monopusher. I’m sorry to say though that the sound is a tad underwhelming. I fully accept that our senses are assailed on a daily/hourly basis by other notifications but if the recording on the website is anything to go by, I would miss...

Classy. Attempting to provoke behaviour so you can continue your wobbly-headed tut-tutting. Nice watch by the way.

Re: Fake Hamiltons are out there..Beware!!..

Annoying for sure. The silver lining might be to keep them in a box marked ‘break in case of mental health emergency’ and save them for one of those days when reducing an inanimate object to individual molecules through the application of blunt force is in order.
