Re: Moonwatch pusher fallen off - update

I believe that Bamford used to do the same thing also. I’m pretty sure that I read somewhere that the least expensive watch they currently sell is based on the service watches they used to loan to customers with a watch in for service/repair. Yes, that’s what I was going to write. The Bamford Mayfa...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement

Thanks both. I think you should reach out again looking at the 22 on your previous pictures I don't think any customer should have to find it acceptable and nor should CW. Even if it is a message to someone senior expressing your disappointment. If they had any integrity about them and pride in thei...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement

My FLE has returned after its second trip to Maidenhead for repairs. The packing slip says the date wheel was changed and it also looks like a new dial has been fitted. My faith in CW has been severely tested over the last three months but it looks like it has now been sorted and I can hopefully ge...

OllyW wrote: Fri Mar 01, 2024 10:47 am That does not inspire me with any confidence that mine will be returned with a correctly aligned date wheel.
No, probably not. Please do let me/us know how it looks though.

I will say… having it back in person again makes me feel again the design team did a fantastic job with it!

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement

Well, I got mine back! Quicker than they said it would take too. The movement is much better and setting the time works as it should. Oh and I have my serial number now! But it’s clearly been rushed again which I really wish they wouldn’t do. They prepared me for an 8 week wait so I’m happy I got it...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement

How far out was your date wheel? After ignoring it the first time I sent it back they have now agreed to change the date wheel on mine. Thanks. Unfortunately I don’t have a photo at 20 to match yours but it was similar. For 11, 21 and 31, the right 1 is right up against the window outline. Definite...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement

Well, mine has just entered the CW system for warranty repair and hopefully the engraving. They’ve agreed there’s a problem with the hacking and movement but said the date wheel is within spec (which is frustrating to read). It’s a priority job but they say 4 weeks to wait again (which, if accurate,...

Re: FLE on straps

@monkeymax - can you tell me about your Strap Tailor strap? It looks amazing on the FLE (and I think it would look amazing on my sandstorm too  ) Sure! So there are two. The brown leather one is his Badalassi Wax Watch Strap - Tan Brown. mine is with the stitching and padding as pictured (acco...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement

But I thought these were supposed to have our chosen serial numbers engraved in the backs? I will alert CW to the issue (and also remind them that they will need to do these engravings for the Batch 2 watches!). Steve, thanks for doing that. Beckie was very proactive in reaching out to me, but I wa...

Re: FLE on straps

Mine is off back at CW again (for more than a missing serial number, sadly - possibly movement out problems) but I took a some photos I’ve been meaning to post. Bader bracelet is great: IMG_4958.jpeg (I’m looking forward to trying the Consort) A Strap Tailor strap I bought for another watch which wo...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement

Yep, mine arrived today too. I’ve been out so have just opened it to have a Quick Look: IMG_4909.jpeg It’s the first time I’ve seen it! I was part of the first batch but CW held on to mine until the second hand was replaced. (They’d already held it for me into the start of January) I’ll have a bette...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement

Sorry, been offline for some time as far as forums and watches were concerned, so I’m just catching up. I got an email before Christmas that I was part of the first batch too. I didn’t want it delivered with all the last minute Christmas deliveries and was working on call right through to the new ye...

Re: 2012 Aqua Terra - you did WHAT???!

This is very cool Lyndsey! I had a big birthday year and a couple of other milestones all of which led to me planning a new watch. It was going to be an AT, I was sure of it and tried loads (new ones) on. As you say, PCLs were my biggest bugbear and Jody on JOMW has a story about how he got his brus...
