Re: C40 speedhawk recent service. Not happy.
£250 for a service of an automatic chronograph is more than reasonable in the current climate. What's wrong with using the same packaging? CW do not provide a refurbishment / polishing service. Are you expecting too much? Frankly - yes. Guy CW don't tell customers their watch will not be cleaned du...

C40 speedhawk recent service. Not happy.
I bought my Speedhawk back in 2010 and have worn it virtually every day since. I love this watch. I sent it to CW for its first service in 2015 and was delighted with the service I received. Proper packaging was provided by CW for me to sent the watch in. When it was returned to me I was very satisf...

Re: WOW news of CW is spreading.
I always look at the watches being worn by people at my work place ,I've never noticed anyone else wearing a CW, plenty of TAG's, Brietlings, Rolex, Omega etc. A few have admired and asked about my C40, but know one up to now has correctly identified it. I also try to recognise the watches worn by c...

Re: C40 speed hawk
Hi Wheels
My C40 runs fast also, but only about 15 seconds a week. However when I first got it, it was about 15 seconds in 24 hours but it seemed to improve very quickly and is now consistent. I would maybe wait a couple of weeks and then talk to CW if you're no happier.
Regards
Andy

Hi Widge
I've just bought a C40 on the bracelet. Its very comfy, I wear it all day with no issues. The accuracy is pretty amazing also. You won't be disapointed.

Re: A new fan of the marque here
Andy, Welcome, congratulations on your new watch, I'd agree with Kip, go for one of the remaining LE's, they are fantastic value and easily hold their own against watches 4 or 5 times their cost. Be careful though, it's a slippery slope and if you're not careful you'll end up as addicted as some of...

Re: A new fan of the marque here
Wow! I've just checked the timekeeping of my new C40, it's gained 3 seconds over 24 hours. From reading other posts on here I think that is pretty good.

Re: A new fan of the marque here
Thanks for the welcome everyone. I've worn it all today, will check how good a time keeper it is later. May even take some photo's (if my camera is up to it).

A new fan of the marque here
Hello all Well I never thought I would be posting on a forum dedicated to luxury watches. I've always been atracted to nice watches but never owned anything special. My fascination really started whilst admiring a work colleagues Rolex Submariner. Ithought I fancy something like that but didn't fanc...
