Re: CWL of the day

This one is special: 1449B485-E01A-4A1A-8FE9-905948F2A0D4.jpeg Love it! What’s the story behind this?! A watch collector forum in Canada commissioned CW to make a limited edition of 100, with the maple leaf and custom red colours. Absolutely love it, especially as I started collecting watches via t...

Re: Vancouver meetup with Konketsu today

Haha Om, it was nice to meet up today! The patina on your Rolex is amazing, gives it that perfect semi-vintage feel and the 42mm Panerai submersible looks great for you. :D I hope you continue to enjoy the crisp Canadian weather. ;) I also tried on one, the Panerai 233 GMT of course. My perfect PAM....

Re: Hot Shower with C60 Trident Pro 600?

You'll be fine in any normal shower / bath / hot tub. The water temperature shouldn't be more than 40-45 C. More than that and you wouldn't be very comfortable! Given that a watch sits on your skin at around 35 C all the time, a ten degree warmer water bath won't hurt it at all.

Had a visit to our local Space Centre today and got to touch an actual rock from the moon. Had to wear the Bulova of course!

Re: Trident GMT - perfect travel/holiday watch?

I wholeheartedly agree that taking only one watch on holidays is the way to go. Having done similar trips with two watches and only one recently it was much easier with just one. The second watch was always in my bag, but it put a bit of weight on my mind about it getting knocked around or lost when...

Re: Seiko Landshark

Probably the way I measured it! Checked again online and found this:

Diameter: 42mm (without crown), 46.5mm (with compass crown)

Oh and I forgot the mention that the titanium one has the same ratcheting diver’s extension clasp found on Marinemaster 300.

Seiko Landshark

I've been looking for a raw titanium watch with bracelet for a while now so when I discovered this Seiko 5 SKZ215 limited edition from 2009, nicknamed the Atlas, or as I prefer Landshark, I was absolutely smitten. The inner rotating compass is a cool feature, with a screw out crown on the left to us...
