Just an update to say how much I’m enjoying this watch, it’s great for summer, nice and light and never fails to amuse me - it’s just a fun idea executed brilliantly. It’s now on a Strap Tailor NATO which has improved it no end.

Finally picked up a Moonswatch
After hankering after a Moonswatch since release (but not really being that arsed to queue or pay over the odds on eBay) I finally picked up one by chance when passing the Swatch store in Miami just as they had a delivery. They had most colours available but ended up going for the Mercury, it feels ...

Re: Fitness Tracker Recommendations?
Another Fitbit recommendation - I have an Inspire 2 which is thin and unobtrusive enough to wear on my right wrist, meaning I can keep my left free for a ‘proper’ watch. The Fitbit app and general infrastructure is very well designed and easy to use.

Re: Rolex AirKing - had the call
Don’t doubt they are top quality watches but Rolex’s current strategy regarding supply inevitably means discussions soon turn to second hand prices / flipping.

Re: Rolex AirKing - had the call
Thanks all for your sage advice, would expect nothing less from this forum. Decided to pass in the end, in theory I can afford to buy it but as an investment it didn’t seem entirely sound with used prices on the wane. Felt weirdly good saying thanks but no thanks! Don’t think I’ll ever own a Rolex n...

Rolex AirKing - had the call
Having been on a wait list for just over a year, had a call from WoS to say I have an Air King if I want it. Feel slightly conflicted if I’m honest, would be a massive jump from previous c2k purchase of a Seamaster and Bremont Solo. Purely as an investment, it seems a no-brainer as second hand model...

Re: Christopher Ward becomes Everton's Official Global Timing Partner
Can’t imagine lifelong Liverpool fan Christopher Ward is thrilled with his name being connected to Everton in this way - is this a commercial decision or trolling by the current owners?

Re: Bremont Dambuster watch
I won’t pretend to be a military historian but I thought the impact of the dambuster raids was disputed, with some arguing it had a negligible impact on Germany’s war effort. Completely agree that these things should never be forgotten, after all those who fail to heed history are doomed to repeat i...

Re: Bremont Dambuster watch
Commemorating an event in which people gave their lives and which turned the tide of the war is hardly “glorifying”. Perhaps you feel we should cancel Remembrance Sunday too. Definitely would not want to see Remembrance Sunday cancelled, but as a country I would like us to be more forward-facing in...

Re: Bremont Dambuster watch
Personally I find them releasing past conflict pieces neither glorifying or tasteless.. There always have been and always will be war, just because there is a high profile one occurring at the moment are we meant to totally forget the ultimate sacrifice that has been made in the past? ZW have recen...

Bremont Dambuster watch
https://www.bremont.com/products/dambuster A new release from Bremont, whilst the watch itself is nice enough, do Bremont still need to be harking back to WWII in this day and age to market watches? It seems even more tasteless in light of what’s currently going on in Ukraine - now might be a good ...

Re: Modern alchemy- the latest seamaster
Like the case and dial of those 300s, the blue in particular but the handset ruins it - the hour hand looks especially out of proportion.
