Re: The Golf Topic

Visited the range twice today, it paid off, as I had a cracking round this evening. Got 47 Stableford points, didn't score on the 18th but shot a 77. Our little gangs course record, it's a par 64. The YouTube tips are working for me ! AVO, that trip to St Andrews, sounds fantastic. I've never seen a...

Re: Small displacement Motorcycle (Monkey bike)

^^^Zipping around on that, I'm not surprised it's a smile enducer.

I haven't ridden for years, but it's something to consider, as I spend a lot of time stuck in London's traffic.

Re: Pressure Testing

You would have thought, after 12 plus years on a watch forum, I would have all this knowledge. And not even have to enquire on here.
I should be answering questions not asking them.
I don't think I'll ever reach the rank of WIS.

Small displacement Motorcycle (Monkey bike)

I've got no clue why this popped into my news thread, but I thought I recognised, the cover star, so thought it might be of interest. "7 Reasons Why a Small Displacement Motorcycle is a Great First Bike | motorcycleshows.com" https://motorcycleshows.com/content/7-reasons-why-small-displace...

Re: Pressure Testing

^^^ Thanks, I've got another repairer to visit tomorrow, so I'll get a price from him. I've never been asked if I required this testing, whenever I've had a battery change, so if it is a cheap service, I'm not sure why they wouldn't offer it. After all, they are checking their own work is done corre...

Pressure Testing

Hello there. I've just enquired at a local watch service center, and to pressure test my Octon dive watch will be around £35. Is that a decent price ? and do you get yours done regularly ? Just done 5 mins research, and it seems if you get your watch wet. It's recommended that you get it tested anua...

Re: The Golf Topic

^^^That's impressive Steve

To be honest, the left arm, for a right handed golfer is pretty important, so if you have good control over it, then that's a good start.
