Re: Steinhart Ocean One Titanium 500 Mini-review
How's everyone getting on with theirs?
I've been wearing it every day for about a month and the accuracy is exceptional for price, approx plus 1 minute overall.
However the clasp is looking tired with 4/5 traditional swirl/ line marks with nothing more strenuous than desk surfing. The strap has also rubbed 6 mirrored marks on itself when the links move about. As Ti I would guess its on the lower end of quality no matter what grade it alleges to be.

Loving mine too. No nasty swirl marks yet although a couple of mini marks where the links rub a little against one another. Losing about 4 secs a day currently. Titanium bracelet looks darker than before, I think. Love how, despite being 42mm, the bezel width makes it look smaller (ideal) overall.

I hope they aren't sold out by the time I'm "allowed" to buy another watch lol

Presently sold out, I do believe. Well worth the wait should you eventually order. Cracking value for money.Glacier wrote:I hope they aren't sold out by the time I'm "allowed" to buy another watch lol

Oh nice, thanks!
EDIT: The only reserve I have is the clasp (the supposed two-tone grey of case vs. bracelet colour doesn't bother me) which people refer to as the nail breaker or something like that. I know there's a lot of talk about just replacing the bracelet for an isofrane or any rubber or nato strap, but if I get it this watch it'd be largely for the "soft" feeling titanium and since the case back is mineral plus stainless-steel (?) I'd really prefer the titanium bracelet. If this is asking too much for that price point I hope they'd introduce an upgrade version of clasps like CW does
Re: Steinhart Ocean One Titanium 500 Mini-review
After reading so much negativity about their clasp I'm starting to wonder if I should have order mine with the rubber strap!?

Re: Steinhart Ocean One Titanium 500 Mini-review
The clasp on mine is fine. It's barely marked and is easy to open, yet secure. I can't fault the watch at all, and price, for what you are getting, is pretty unbeatable really.
