I love the plaster idea... genius...

Well, it's been like "pass-the-parcel" here this morning.. mine just showed up after its long journey... seems like I paid a bit more than your £100... Will post more photos at some point... Just need to adjust the strap now...

OK, here are a couple of quick snaps for now... I've also been to get the strap adjusted too... that was quite traumatic... I can see I will need to get the tools to do this kind of thing myself... I think I would do a better job!!

Interesting. I recently purchased a watch from Bodying which started it's journey in Kuala Lumpur but mine went via Singapore, Leipzig and East Midlands Airport. Did you avoid paying any taxes I did and it said on the packaging that it was a gift of no monetary value??

Interesting. Mine also said gift or something on it too... When I "checked out", it said that there was tax to pay -- about $24 or so...

It is not complicated to remove links from the Monster bracelet. The normal process applies but

BEWARE!!!

The one difference with the pins is that they are held in with little metal collars. It is very easy not to notice this but if you lose the collar you will not be reassembling the bracelet. I found out by accident but fortunately I did not lose the collar. Congratulations on your new purchase though. The Black is a nice looking watch and mine has been my daily beater since I got it. A far more robust watch than my steel C4 was and the Monster can pretty much take any abuse you care to throw its way. Mine still looks good despite the fact I normally eat watches for breakfast.

Actually I need to take a look at my C4. The battery died and I got a new one fitted but despite not wearing it the watch died again after about 3 months. Probably just a faulty replacement battery but I should check it I suppose while its under warranty.

I know where you are coming from T2, I spent quite a while scouring the carpet with a magnet... then found the missing collar wrapped around the pin pushing tool #-o

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Yeah, the bloke in the second shop I went to lost one of my collars... not impressed... this was after the people in the first shop took the strap apart and said... "errm, we can't put it back together... take it to that bloke"... and they are a Seiko dealer too... disgraceful I reckon... but ho hum...

Loving the BM... Think it might also be my daily wear... Give the C8 a bit of a rest... Glad to hear it's durable... Fits beautifully too on my 7" wrists... And relating to another thread about lume, chuckled to myself whilst putting my coat back in the cupboard after getting the BM resized and being dazzled ;)
