New Watch Box (and Contents)

Post by gaf1958 »

I recently picked up a new watch box on sale at a local jeweller's - the purchase was well timed as I'd run out of space in my other boxes. It holds 10 watches, so it neatly holds my best watches, leaving another 8 watch box to the CWs with the remainder split between two other boxes (8 each). It's good, as the cushions are not sized for 8" or larger wrists - a common thing with many (or even most) watch boxes, so my watches fit on the cushions with the clasp closed. I've previously bought three identical 8 watch boxes as they also have slightly smaller cushions that fit my watches well. I was unable to get another, as they're not currently available...

Here's the outside:

And here are the contents:

I've managed to fit all of my Omegas into it, plus one ring-in, which I think is qualified to keep company with these. :) Actually, there's a second ring-in as the SMP chrono is not mine - it's occupying the spot usually occupied by my wife's black faced Aqua Terra...

That is a serious box with serious content, although there is only one IWC among all the Omega's it still looks like it belongs there...

In fact I have you to blame for one of these John. When you bought your electric blue SMP recently it made me start looking for a replacement for the one I sold a couple of years ago. It arrived yesterday. :)

Your CWs aren't your best watches.

Nice looking box. There is enough room for big watches to be in there without bumping the other watches.

Nice shiny box. Fantastic content. You wouldn't happen to like Omegas, would you?
