I'm totally in love with nato straps. I have far far too many, but no leather.

Buy a decent leather Zulu. You'll love it as it picks up patina.

I am not a fan of leather Nato straps (look wise), but I can't get enough of the nylon ones

I've been wanting to pick up a leather Zulu but have wondered - if the length is too long, is it simply a matter of grabbing a pair of scissors and trimming the end? On my Natos I've been content to just fold them back since the fabric is typically quite a bit thinner, though I'm thinking I may have an issue with that when it comes to a leather strap.

Yes you can trim with scissors or a Stanley knife.

In my experience leather is much more springy than fabric and does not like bending back on its self into the last retaining ring and comes out while wearing, I don't trim though.

Just had a count up, I have 22 Nato's/Zulu's, most 22mm but a few 20mm and a couple 18mm for my wife's digital.

I think I like Nato's just not Bonds

I really like NATOs, and I be got several. It's nice to wear them in the summer here in Arizona when it's 110+ outside. I've bought all mine from www.crownandbuckle.com. They make some good stuff that is really inexpensive.

Did anyone have trouble fitting a nato/zulu strap on a 42mm C60 600? My fit was very tight and I am assuming I won't be able to get a leather one unless I get curved spring bars. Any downsides to curved spring bars?

I have a Mk1 C60 and I had to curve the spring bars to clear the case.

I bought this tool for the job.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/321599280703?

All my watches that wear Nato's now have curved bars.
