As I did not see the seminar on their site I dropped them an e-mail and they called me.
Apparently the details of the seminars are available if you chose the German or Dutch version of the site when you go it. He said that most of the people come from Germany, Holland or Belgium and they have been pretty full so they have not had much desire to translate it all into English which is a bit weird as it is only a few paragraphs when I looked at the German site and his English was very good. They have been running these for about 5 years.
Apparently one of the watchmakers is American so doing English over the 2 day weekend is not a problem. It is between Mannheim and Heidelberg. (I went to Heidelberg years ago. It is very pretty and worth a visit on its own.) The cost of the 2 day seminar is €980 but you do end up with an automatic watch that you have built and personalised yourself. A limited edition of 1 of 1. You blue the screws and do the Geneva markings so it is right from basics. They also have a recommendation for a hotel for €214 which is 2 nights, breakfasts and evening meals. Need to work out you own travel arrangements. With travel I reckon that will take the weekend to about £1,500. Not cheap. You could buy three C40s for that! But it sounds and looks fascinating. Perhaps I can go as a birthday treat.
Depending on your German you can see the details and pictures at the German site (look for Uhrenseminare). Looking at the request form (Anfragen) there is a seminar a month around about the middle of the month.
